Bigot Brigade on the Tooth Fairy Thread

The bigot brigade were out in full force last week on the Ben White thread accompanying the fairy tales and lies of resident Jew-hater Ben White. For those not familiar with Ben White, he is infamous for claiming to understand why some people are antisemitic, he has flirted with Holocaust denial and cites French Holocaust denialist, Roger Garaudy, as recommended reading in his “magnus opus”, Israeli apartheid for beginners.
The first salvo of Israel-bashing began with a battery of charges that Israel engages in ethnic cleansing, a staple in the armory of the bigot brigade.

Another key organisation involved is the Jewish National Fund. Its UK website, for example, talks about how “the future of Israel lies in the Negev” and says the goal of the “major initiative” known as “Blueprint Negev” is to “revitalise Israel’s southern region”.
Now matter how you dress it up = ethnic “transfer” of the Bedouins.
Unless I’m way off the mark that is.

This multi-tined effort to uproot and spill-out the Bedouin population must surely be very worrying for moderate Israel. It certainly is worrying from the outside. The lexicon of the JNF is chillingly evocative of the veiled racism of the NF and BNP in this country; only in Negev this mantra is seems to have been actuated through local bureaucracy and enforcement. If, as seems to be the case, this ethnic-cleansing-lite is going on, it immediately poses certain moral quandaries. For example; to what extent are inhumane policies – ethnic cleansing to bolster a Jewish majority for example – an acceptable cost in support of religious nationalism?

If your goal is to remove one racial group to replace it with your own racial group, to improve “demographics”, why exactly is the term “racist state” so outrageous? Seems factually irrefutable to me…

Things began to heat up with the ethnic cleansing charge mixed in with Jewish conspiracy theory and for good measure application of the Livingstone formulation.

I confidently predict that by 2pm all of the posts questioning the policies will be removed – as per past experience – with the Israel lobby waking up in the USA.
Any discussion of Israel and its’ social-engineering attempts to have “a Jewish majority in all parts of Israel” are dismissed as kneejerk anti-semitism.
Over to you Epidermoid…

All fired up from earlier comments in the thread, we have another variation on the ethnic cleansing theme mixed in with well pretty much everything else you can think of.

ONeil70, SantaMonika, pretzelberg, Jeff54, sydk –
Israel is a democracy, unfortunately it’s a racist, vindictive, bullying, land stealing, ethnic cleansing, child killing democracy.
I know there are lots of other regimes equally as bad, and I condemn them as well. But that does not excuse anything that Israel does. and, after all this article is about Israel, not the other rogue states.

And frankly your uncritical support for everything that Israel does disgusts me.

And what would a Ben White thread be without the apartheid analogy.

ONeill
Of course, if you’re just interested in giving Israel a kicking….

Never mind. 30 years ago, we all used to rant on about South Africa all the time. And then, one day it just stopped. I’m sure it will be the same with Israel one day.

the single biggest difference between apartheid SA and Israel is the calibre of the propaganda. it’s enough to look back on Verwoed et al and pity their naivite.

point well taken Epidermoid – I guess both Afrikaner and Jew were getting their orders direct from the same god so finesse is not either available or necessary.

And from the apartheid analogy we move to another regular feature of CiF I/P threads, the Nazi analogy.

Maybe they could build a wall around the Bedouin…. they could call it the Negav
ghetto maybe..? It seems Israel has learned plenty from the persecution they
suffered under the Nazi’s and are now doing their best to use it against ANY
and ALL Arabs they can….. even the peaceful and easy going desert folk who to
the best of my knowledge have done NOTHING wrong other than exist.
South Africa in the 80’s was the same as Israel is now and like SA they will find
their position untenable before too long.

Then we have a couple of comments invoking the “chosen people” trope, the second of which mixes in some Nazi imagery.

What we should have concluded long ago, is, Israel is a Middle Eastern country, with even a harder Middle Eastern view of life.

They are even worse, in that they see themselves in the unintelligent view as a “god” chosen people and superior to all.

It is right therefore to conclude that Israel seems to prefer the “Wailing Wall” to Peace.

‘Chosen People’ isn’t really all that different to ‘Master Race’ is it?

And then we have a modern day version of the blood libel.

@rich1

hatred is irrational.

You might mention that to the rabbis who exhorted the IDF boys to kill everyone they set their sights on in Gaza, which some of them did.
I’ve never seen a cluster bomb. Do they come with love notes for curious children?

And not to be overshadowed by the likes of raymonddelauney and corrocamino, we have this from Berchmans.

She punches above her weight in many areas..democracy, health, education, settlement building, bumping off Muslims by the the kilo..

Heres to Israel… no mean country.

Then we have a comment from zendancer hoping for, believe it or not, a second Holocaust.

I do look forward (if i live long enough) to reading the History of Israel (after its implosion – following withdrawl of support from USA) which will explain the conundrum of why Israel was protected for so long by USA.Yes,i know all the suggested reasons but, one day the truth will be out and then America -Land of the Free -will be shamed by the whole debacle.

And here’s some just plain vanilla Israel demonization.

The recent 60th anniversary of the coming into being of the state of Israel and the 60-year nightmare of occupied Palestine. Israel’s many supporters celebrated what they see as a great achievement. For them Israel has been a culmination of a dream dusted from amongst the ashes of Auschwitz, the grotesque anti-Semitism of not just Germany but the whole of Europe. A state born surrounded by hostile enemies survived against all odds in one piece.
The proponents of Israel believe it a democracy in nutshell and insist it is. A nation state fights terrorism as victim of other people?s terror and hate. Such a narrative would be a criminal distortion of the truth. Far from it, Israel is a state created through violence and remains a militant nation today, spending major budget on defence and security akin to a large military base not a modern nation addressing the problem of its people. Indeed Jews from all over the world voted with their feet chose to live in US and Europe preferring prosperity than living in Israel where every adult citizen (bar the ultra Orthodox and the well connected) undergo military service. Any wonder therefore Israel constantly attacks its weak neighbours bombing Lebanon in 2006 etc. back to the Stone Age.

And here are a couple of comments on the thread from Ben White himself. The first comment demonstrates White’s complete inability to address the substantive critique from certain pro-Israel commenters. Instead, White launches a personal attack intimating that the pro-Israel posters on the thread are simply propaganda agents of the Israeli government. Sounds kind of familiar from someone that is “above the line” eh.

@sydk
For those individuals who are genuinely interested in learning about the Bedouin of Israel rather than having a lunchtime tirade against Israel, then you may wish to read the following article which unlike Ben’s piece presents facts figures and explanation…Some may say this is government propaganda, but then what words would one use to describe Ben’s article?
Some may say this is government propaganda? Surely not…
Source: Israeli Foreign Ministry.
And who is behind this ‘Jewish Virtual Library’?

So for those individuals who are interested in learning about the tactics of Israel’s defenders when presented with the evidence for the state’s discriminatory policies – diversions, personal attacks – then you may wish to read comments on this thread by the likes of sydk, Jeff54, ONeill70 and SantaMoniker.

Sorry Jeff54, I was talking to both you and ONeill70.
Look Ben if you can’t actually refute the facts that have been presented I think you should just gracefully bow out.
Perhaps I’m on the wrong thread. What “facts” am I meant to be refuting?
Have you read my article? Would you like to “refute” what it describes?

Well dear Ben. Here’s a piece of advice: if I were you I’d think twice about writing something like that lest you incur the wrath of AKUS and Israelinurse again who not only refuted your entire article but exposed once again that your Israel-obsessed writings are nothing but a tissue of lies.
And shame on Georgina, Matt and Brian for once again giving a platform to more Jew-hatred.
