CiF Israel = Nazi Germany comment of the day

Harriet Sherwood’s latest piece, about the town of Ghajar – a journey into the world of completely erroneous political metaphors – “The battle to prevent a new ‘Berlin Wall’ on the Israel/Lebanon border” produced this filth by CiF commenter cheveguara:

Note to Ms. Sherwood: The Berlin wall was constructed to keep citizens of a totalitarian country from escaping to freedom.  By what logic can you apply this historical event to the possibility that a security fence may or may not be built along a recognized international border? Che’s comment merely reflects the filth which filth produces.

But, beyond the ludicrous analogy, the broader problem with the piece is best reflected by a commenter named TW14:

Yes, Jews can be a stubborn lot, can’t they?
