You American readers are no doubt recovering from the “March Madness” of the NCAA finals (U.S. college basketball playoffs), and apologize for exposing you so soon to yet another high stakes, highly hyped competition but yes, it’s that time already: The feverish competition known as the 2011 Pro-Israel Blog-off Quarter Finals.
What? You’ve never heard of the sport known as Pro-Israel Blogging, and it doesn’t sound that interesting? Well, that’s how I felt when my wife’s South African family forced me to watch Cricket for the first time, but I quickly developed an enthusiasm, interest, resigned tolerance towards the game (which apparently can go on for five dreadfully tedious days…but I digress).
CiF Watch is competing against another blog to see who makes it to the semi-finals and we ask you, our faithful readers, to click on this link which will take you to the site of the blog sponsoring the contest, Israellycool, scroll down and vote for us and our entry, “Feared, Loathed, and Isolated.” An Open Letter to Peter Kosminsky”. (There’s a link to the essay at the site.)
I’d like to suggest that you vote “early and often” but, alas, entries are limited to one per IP Address. (Voting closes this Sunday night at 11:59 PM Israel time.)
Let the virtual games begin!
