On November 10th some potential viewers reported a dead link as they clicked on the report entitled “The ‘Miami of the West Bank’ ” on the Middle East page of the BBC News Online website.
However, it appears that the speculations of some as to the reasons for the report’s apparent disappearance were unwarranted. The next day, the uncontroversial video report by the BBC World Service’s Murad Batal Shishani about luxury housing in Mazraa Sharqiya – which the BBC also visited five years ago – reappeared and can be seen here.
Yes; like us all, the BBC can suffer technical gremlins too.
