Along a BBC road to Damascus

Something rather odd appears to have happened to the BBC’s intrepid Middle East Editor somewhere along the road to Damascus.

Immediately upon his entry into the Gaza Strip on November 19th, Jeremy Bowen was blessed with the impressive ability to instantly identify the national affiliations of explosions, just by their sound.
