Regrettably, the BBC’s five month-long avoidance of the issues of the incitement and glorification of terrorism from both popular and official Palestinian sources has been a frequent topic on these pages since the wave of terror attacks underpinned by those factors first began.
The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs (JCPA) recently published a comprehensive study of the terror attacks which began last autumn which documents incitement and glorification of terrorism on social media and in traditional media from all sources.
“The Knife and the Message: The Roots of the New Palestinian Uprising” can be found here and it of course includes a wealth of information which – despite its obligation to “build a global understanding of international issues” – the BBC has refrained from providing to its audiences.
