CAMERA recently held an online event with legendary human rights activist Natan Sharansky and award-winning historian Gil Troy about their powerful new book Never Alone: Prison, Politics, and My People. The authors discussed, among other things, the lessons that Sharansky drew from his time as a political prisoner in the Soviet Union, from his advocacy for democracy in the Middle East, and from his passionate efforts to unite the Jewish people.
