An upcoming webinar with CAMERA Arabic

Regular readers are no doubt familiar with the work of CAMERA Arabic, not least in relation to the BBC World Service’s Arabic department and often in collaboration with the Jewish Chronicle.

BBC MAKES OVER TWENTY CORRECTIONS IN ARABIC FOLLOWING JC EXPOSÉ

This coming Thursday, March 23rd, at 7 p.m. UK time (3 p.m. US ET) members of the public are invited to a webinar on that topic:

“The BBC’s Arabic department (BBC Arabic) has been broadcasting disturbing programs and news bulletins about Jews and Israel to the Arabic-speaking world. Don’t miss this one-time opportunity to hear how the Jewish Chronicle and CAMERA’s Arabic department are working to expose and combat anti-Israel extremism and antisemitism within the influential British news world.

Leading British journalist Jonathan Sacerdoti and CAMERA’s top Arabic researcher will discuss their unique experiences and perspectives on mobilizing the Jewish community of the United Kingdom to combat hate speech and hold public media outlets accountable to their own standards, even in languages other than English.”

The event is free of charge but advance registration is required – register here.

The webinar will not be recorded so this is a unique opportunity to learn more about the work of CAMERA Arabic.
