Yesterday, we complained to editors at the Independent about an article by reporter Jabed Ahmed (“Four children among at least 10 killed in Israeli strike on home in Gaza, say rescuers”, Sept. 15) which significantly undercounted the number Israelis murdered by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7th.
The true number is of course around 1,200.
Our complaint was quickly upheld, and the sentence amended to note the correct death toll.
