BBC NEWS COVERAGE OF TERRORISM IN ISRAEL – FEBRUARY 2025

The Israel Security Agency’s report on terror attacks during February 2025 shows that throughout the month a total of 416 incidents took place in Judea & Samaria, Jerusalem and within the ‘green line’. The agency recorded 35 attacks with petrol bombs, 31 attacks using pipe bombs, 322 incidents of rock throwing, two shooting attacks, 20 arson attacks, four vehicular attacks, one attack using an IED and one case of assault.

195 attacks were thwarted throughout the month and 372 terror related arrests were made.

In addition, the report records three missiles launched into Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip throughout February. The ISA report does not include casualties from attacks related to Operation Swords of Iron or Operation Northern Arrows.

One civilian was murdered, two members of the security forces were killed and twenty-four people were injured in attacks in Judea & Samaria, Jerusalem and inside the ‘green line’ during February.

A shooting attack near Tayasir on February 4th in which two members of the security forces were killed and six wounded was reported on the BBC News website on that day.

The BBC News website did not cover a vehicular attack at the Karkur junction on February 27th in which fourteen people were injured, one of whom – a 17-year-old girl – later died as a result of her injuries.

The BBC News website also did not report an attack with a hoe on a civilian at his home in Gan Ner on February 14th.

In the first two months of 2025, the BBC News website reported 0.4% of the terror attacks which took place and 62.5% of the fatalities.

    Typical of the BBC. They also publish/broadcast sob-story ‘editorials’ showing how difficult life is for Gazans and blame Israel for that because of food shortages etc but they never tell you that Gaza has a border with Egypt over which Israel has no control.
