The Israel Security Agency’s report on terror attacks during July 2025 shows that a total of 424 incidents took place in Judea & Samaria, Jerusalem and within the ‘green line’. The agency recorded 47 attacks with petrol bombs, 25 attacks using pipe bombs, 310 incidents of rock throwing, 36 arson attacks, one vehicular attack, three stabbing attacks and two shooting attacks.
103 attacks were thwarted throughout the month and 295 terror-related arrests were made.
In addition, the report records forty-six rockets launched into Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip throughout July. The ISA report does not include casualties from attacks related to Operation Swords of Iron.
One person was murdered and nineteen people were injured in attacks in Judea & Samaria, Jerusalem and inside the ‘green line’ during July.
On July 10th a 22-year-old civilian was murdered in a shooting attack outside a supermarket at Gush Etzion junction. The attack was carried out by two members of the Palestinian Authority security forces and was claimed by Fatah’s ‘Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades’.
Visitors to the BBC News website saw no stand-alone reporting on that attack but it was briefly mentioned two days later – without identification of the perpetrators – in the final two paragraphs of a report on a different topic.
On the same day, a member of the security forces was injured in a stabbing attack near Jenin.
On July 24th nine members of the security forces and one civilian were injured in a vehicular attack at a bus stop near Kfar Yona which did not receive any coverage on the BBC News website.
Rock throwing attacks accounted for most of the injuries sustained in July. Visitors to the BBC News website did not see any coverage of rocket and mortar attacks from the Gaza Strip or counter-terrorism operations throughout the month.
Throughout the first seven months of 2025, the BBC News website reported 0.29% of the terror attacks which took place and 69% of the fatalities.
