The Israel Security Agency’s report on terror attacks during August 2025 shows that a total of 287 incidents took place in Judea & Samaria, Jerusalem and within the ‘green line’. The agency recorded 30 attacks with petrol bombs, 13 attacks using pipe bombs, 221 incidents of rock throwing, 20 arson attacks, two stabbing attacks and one shooting attack.
Eighty-eight serious attacks were thwarted throughout the month and 322 terror-related arrests were made.
In addition, the report records forty-five rockets launched into Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip throughout August. The ISA report does not include casualties from attacks related to Operation Swords of Iron.
Fifteen people were injured in attacks in Judea & Samaria, Jerusalem and inside the ‘green line’ during August.
On August 2nd an attempted stabbing attack took place at Kibbutz Metzer and on August 14th another stabbing was thwarted at the Qalandiya checkpoint. On August 21st one man was injured during a shooting incident near Adei-Ad and on the same day a shooting attack was thwarted at a checkpoint near Hebron.
Visitors to the BBC News website did not see any coverage of those attacks or others.
Throughout the first eight months of 2025, the BBC News website reported 0.27% of the terror attacks which took place and 69% of the fatalities.
