Earlier in the week, we complained to the Guardian about an article by Ashifa Kassam (“Who are the 20 hostages believed alive and expected to be freed from Gaza“, Oct. 11) claiming that former Israeli hostage Noa Argamani was “released” after 245 days in Hamas captivity.
Or was kidnapped at gunpoint along with his girlfriend, Noa Argamani, at the Nova music festival. Argamani was released after 245 days in captivity.
In fact, as the Guardian reported at the time, Argamani wasn’t “released”, but was rescued by Israeli forces.
Our complaint was upheld, and the sentence corrected.
