1) The ITIC documents ‘Instructions Given by Yahya al-Sinwar for the October 7, 2023 Attack and Massacre’.
“A document handwritten by al-Sinwar in August 2022, which was found by the IDF in the Gaza Strip, detailed his instructions, from the deceptions in the weeks before the invasion to the conduct of invasion itself, based on the understanding that the Israeli defense measures along the border would not be able to stop the waves of attacking terrorists. […]
A central part of the document is dedicated to the psychology of the attack, with al-Sinwar’s explicit instructions to document Hamas terrorist operatives indiscriminately slaughtering civilians, trampling soldiers’ bodies, burning residential neighborhoods, and blowing up tanks. The documentation of the atrocities was intended not only for internal use but was planned as a psychological tool to shock and terrorize the Israeli public and send a message of power to “resistance” operatives in the region.”
2) The Alma Center reports on ‘The Potential Terror Infrastructure of Iran and Hezbollah in Southern Syria’.
“Even today, after the fall of the Assad regime, the Syrian locals — some of whom operated within those terror cells and some who were active in militias in the aforementioned areas and settlements – currently constitute the potential upon which the Iranians and Hezbollah base their continued activity in southern Syria.
Through this potential, they are rebuilding their terror infrastructure and reinforcing their foothold in this region. The interest of the locals being operated is primarily financial, and less ideological, if at all.”
3) At the FDD, Toby Dershowitz discusses ‘The Shake-Up at Al Jazeera: Motion or Real Movement?’.
“The scope of Al Jazeera’s incitement is not small. It is systemic as is its entanglement with Hamas throughout the Al Jazeera ecosystem.
A reported six Al Jazeera journalists simultaneously held positions in Hamas’s militant forces and participated in the October 7 massacre. An additional alleged Al Jazeera contributor held three hostages in his home, which was uncovered after the IDF rescued the Israelis. The network has denied the allegations, but photographic and documentary evidence are compelling.”
4) At the Long War Journal, Joe Truzman reports on Hamas violence against its rivals and opponents in the Gaza Strip.
“Since the ceasefire between Palestinian factions and Israel went into effect on October 10, Hamas has carried out a campaign of punishment against clans, militias, and individuals in the Gaza Strip that it has accused of “opposing the resistance.”
The Arrow Unit, a specialized force established by the Hamas-run Interior Ministry in Gaza, has led the crackdown. The unit posted footage of the recent execution on its Telegram channel, along with a warning. “This is the fate of every traitor to the homeland and to religion — the moment of the execution of the occupation’s agents from the Doghmush family,” the Arrow Unit wrote.”
5) MEMRI reports that ‘Hamas, Other Palestinian Factions Announce: We Are Continuing With ‘Resistance In All Its Forms’ Against Israel’.
“On October 10, 2025, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) published a joint statement stressing that they intend to continue terror attacks against Israel after the ceasefire.
The statement, which came the day after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that an agreement had been reached on the first stage of a ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip, opened by emphasizing: “We emphasize our determination to continue with the resistance in all its forms until our rights are achieved – first and foremost the removal of the occupation, [Palestinian] self determination, and the establishment of an independent [Palestinian] state with full sovereignty with Jerusalem as its capital.””
6) WINEP provides analysis of ‘The Ceasefire in Gaza’.
“At the heart of President Trump’s 20-point Gaza peace plan, and of Israeli demands, is Hamas’s disarmament (i.e., “process of demilitarization”) and relinquishing of Gaza governance—paired with Israeli withdrawal and a broad international role in the postwar territory. If Hamas refuses these demands, the plan will fail, international ground engagement will collapse, and Israel likely will invade anew.”
