Previously we discussed a November 22nd BBC News website report by Rushdi Abualouf and Jon Donnison on the topic of strikes carried out that day in the Gaza Strip following a violation of the ceasefire agreement:
BBC NEWS AGAIN FAILS TO REPORT GAZA CEASEFIRE VIOLATION IN ITS OWN WORDS
As we pointed out at the time, Abualouf and Donnison failed to report the name and role of a Hamas commander who was the target of one of the strikes described in their article, even though that information was available at the time of publication.
Quoting Hamas officials, another incident was described by Abualouf and Donnison in that report as follows:
“Three more people were killed later on Saturday when a house in western Gaza City was hit, officials reported.”
On the evening of December 1st, the target of that strike was identified.
“A Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist who invaded Israel during the Hamas-led October 7, 2023, onslaught was killed in an airstrike in Gaza last month, the military says it is able to confirm.
The Israeli strikes on November 22 came in response to an attack by a Palestinian gunman on troops in the Strip’s south.
The IDF says that it can now confirm that one of those strikes killed Alaa Khudar, who it says served as the chief of Islamic Jihad’s elite forces in Gaza City.
On October 7, 2023, Khudar invaded Kibbutz Nahal Oz, the army says, adding that he also led other attacks on Israeli troops and civilians during the war.”
Given the BBC’s record of rushing to publish reports that fail to tell the whole story, there is of course little reason to expect that the corporation will either update its existing article about the November 22nd strikes or produce a new report clarifying that they targeted Hamas and PIJ terrorists rather than “Palestinians”.
Hence, what will once again remain in the BBC’s online archive as ‘permanent public record’ is an incomplete account of events lacking relevant context and airbrushing terrorists from the story.

Abalouf and Donnison, if they were a firm of solicitors they would have been disbarred for corruption distortion of the facts and plain and simply lying through their teeth on behalf of the BBC, a failed organisation that is rudderless, drifting in a sea of antisemitism and corruption that ignores Islamic rape gangs, child abuse, polygamy and fgm. #defundthebbc
