Yom Yerushalayim

Tonight and tomorrow Israel celebrates the reunification of Jerusalem on the 28th of Iyyar 5727 (June 7th 1967), nineteen years after the Jordanian occupation and the expulsion of Jews from Atarot, Neve Ya’akov, the Old City and other Jerusalem neighbourhoods.

Happy Jerusalem Day!

Already yesterday the BBC News were attempting to blame Israel for these organized riots in Jerusalem, bus loads of people told to block traffic by praying in the streets, prior to going on the rampage. Every year they try the same tactics to attempt to make Israel look like the aggressors. They even announced on the news it would be much worse today because it was Yom Yerushalyim and this would be seen as provocative by Palestinians. The gullible people that swallow this tripe as the truth need to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror.
