The Day of Remembrance for the Fallen Soldiers of Israel and Victims of Terrorism begins this evening.
The Jordan Rift Valley Monument – designed by artist Yigal Tumarkin – commemorates 366 soldiers who fell in the area, including during the Six Day War and the subsequent War of Attrition in the “land of pursuits’.
